Objectives of research

The objective of this study is to describe the profile of the ACL deficient child and adolescent with opened growth plate and to better understand the associated lesions and their associated factors in order to optimize the decision making concerning surgical versus non-surgical treatment.

This study addresses a subject that is being debated in most of the recent scientific events as we are witnessing a dramatic increase of ACL tears in pediatric population over the last years.
